Activated Charcoal Face Masks - Smell Less.

Ever Walk Into a Smell So Bad You Instantly Regret Breathing In?

Yeah. Same.

Whether you work in healthcare, deal with messy situations, or just happened to walk into the wrong public bathroom at the wrong time, bad odors have a way of finding you when you least expect it.

And unfortunately, there’s never really been a great solution besides:

  1. Holding your breath
  2. Breathing through your mouth (terrible idea)
  3. Mentally leaving your body

That’s where activated carbon face masks come in.

So... What Even Is an Activated Carbon Face Mask?

It sounds super technical, but the idea is actually pretty simple.

Activated carbon face masks use a special layer made with activated carbon, usually derived from charcoal. That carbon layer is designed to help adsorb odor-causing molecules before they make their way to your nose.

Some odor-causing molecules are incredibly small — measured at the molecular level. Activated carbon is commonly used for odor control because its microscopic pore structure can adsorb many of these compounds.

Basically, the carbon layer helps deal with the smells so your nose doesn’t have to suffer as much.

That’s why activated carbon is used in things like air purifiers, filtration systems, and now face masks.

Vytal Shift?

Healthcare workers go through things most people could never imagine.

Nurses, CNAs, patient care techs, and other healthcare workers handle the toughest situations every day while somehow still managing to care for patients with compassion and professionalism.

Meanwhile, they’re also trying not to get hit with a full-force biological attack during cleanup duty and CODE BROWN.

We created Vytal Shift because we wanted something that could make those moments more bearable.

Our activated carbon face masks were designed for comfort, breathability, and odor control for people dealing with real-life situations — especially the healthcare workers who deserve way more credit than they get.

Because patient care is heroic, even if the smell isn't so heroic.
